Chief Deputy Harry Montgomery retired from the Sheriff’s Office in 1999, after 25 years of service. Since that time, he has continued to work for the Sheriff’s Office in a part-time capacity. When Sheriff Sexton took a military leave of absence in January 2008, Chief Montgomery returned to full time employment as Chief Deputy to Sheriff Abernathy.
