Mike Kelley and K-9 Jopper
Deputy
Kelley began his career at the Sheriff's Office in 1996 as a Detention
Officer in the Jail. While working in the jail, Kelley worked a
narcotics detector dog. When he was promoted to Deputy status his
interest in the K-9 unit continued until he had the opportunity
to work Jopper.
Jopper
is trained as a Dual-purpose dog. He is trained as an explosives
detector as well as patrol, criminal apprehension and tracking.
Mike and Jopper are currently assigned to the Patrol Division.
